When having time on your hands,
The clock seems eternal,
The everyday flash of morning and night is no longer.
Replaced by the stillness of time,
Boundaries and freedom on hold.
Waiting, waiting,waiting, endlessly
Looking at the dials,
They have gone frozen.
People passing by,
Over and over, again and again,
Many forms, vibrations, personalities,
Clothing and beliefs,
Everyone wrapped in the bubble of stand by.
To begin or end their journey,
So many realities in one space.
Stories unshared passing by.
Almost like sleeping beauty…
Dormant, unaware, with so much to share.
Then once in a while there are those,
Who are wide awake,
Aware of those around them,
Offering a smile,
Many talks of life in one location.
Flights, security checks flourishing,
Following a grand routine,
Eyes everywhere watching,
Νo “mistakes” to be made...
Bla bla bla bla bla…
Diversity but yet no interaction.
Still a task.
Wanting time to just disappear,
To be finally at the point of interest, departure.
That special time you know,
You are close to your goal,
Where an exciting journey begins,
Or that ever joyful feeling of soon reaching home.
The excitement growing..
The anticipation flowing.
I await to dance on the sand and under the stars.
To hear the waves from the beach crashing in my dreams as I lay in bed....
Hearing the dogs talk to the moon.
Feeling the warmth of fluffy tails brush upon my legs....
I await, I await (to finally be home).
