Ocean of Perfection

We are both perfection and imperfection. Our true nature is perfection. As we sway away from that into our conditioning imperfections arise. We drift up and down in waves sometimes closer to who we are and perfection, to getting caught up tumbled by the wave lost within the water taking over our direction in life. In our imperfection the struggle, the fight with the water becomes the determining force.

The ocean and waves are always there it is life….In your perfected form of being you when a wave comes, you ride with it, it is fun…relaxing…nurturing. You move together surrendering to your body, the ocean’s body…to life.
If you resist in your imperfection trying to fight to control the wave well, it can be exhausting. You never get that perfect ride. Constantly diving underneath the wave viewing it as something dangerous while it rolls over you catching your breath, and then down again, or standing in resistance in front of it and getting pounded by the wave. While being imperfect the scene transforms into imperfect. Resistance… You cannot control the water, you can only surrender to it, be part of it, move along with it. Do not try to make it imperfect by being imperfect. Enjoy the ride of sometimes being imperfect and sometimes perfect. Getting caught up in the waves tumbling over and other times having a most glorious easy ride straight out into the sand with no effort, no control, simply riding…gliding along with the wave…with life.
See when we get tumbled over by the wave, we seek to want to get back in the water and do it again, fighting the wave…persisting, fighting even more, seeing imperfection in its perfection, forgetting to listen to our body’s awareness of how to move along, seeking to be separate from the ocean of life. Instead of riding with it straight through, with complete ease, satisfied to have had such a beautiful, easy, effortless journey, and now to be on the sand resting grateful to be alive in this beautiful perfect body that knows exactly how to ride that wave, there to give you that perfect ride…..

My name is Gaia (Γαία) and I was born on the beautiful lush island of Kos, along the Aegean sea of Greece, where Hippocrates, the "father of medicine" was born. I am a writer (favorite being children's stories and fairy tales), artist, dancer, modern day Greek Mythologist, nature dweller, photographer, traveler, dreamer, and creator.  I love creativity...I love all nature, especially trees.

One of my greatest joys is connecting people with nature in which I have spent most of my life in solitude contemplating and enjoying its wisdom, and empowering people to be their authentic selves, reconnecting them to their true essence and calling in life.

At the moment I am following my passion writing my fairy tale books.

"Lighthouses don't go running all over an island looking for boats to save; they just stand there shining."
