One of the Best Gifts

I received one of the best gifts ever the other day on my drive over to Seattle. A porcupine quill! I had never seen one before and being that I love porcupines I was fascinated by it.
I took out my camera to take a photo and my friend said, “why take a photo of it when you can have it?”
To me that is very special…

My name is Gaia (Γαία) and I was born on the beautiful lush island of Kos, along the Aegean sea of Greece, where Hippocrates, the "father of medicine" was born. I am a writer (favorite being children's stories and fairy tales), artist, dancer, modern day Greek Mythologist, nature dweller, photographer, traveler, dreamer, and creator.
